Static control system has alarm feature

In applications such as thermoforming, where the process uses a hazardous carrier, the a feedback system provides a remote alarm function to warn of increasing static charge levels.

The Meech Model 986 Feedback system has been a huge success since its recent launch It is installed in a number of factories for automatically controlling the problems of static and has been proven in many processing applications including thermoforming, slitting/ rewinding and gravure printing

Built in to the Model 986 is an important safety alarm feature, not seen in other systems.

Static is recognised as a source of hazard as it has the capability of igniting flammable materials.

In applications such as thermoforming, where the process uses a hazardous carrier, the new Feedback system provides a remote alarm function to warn of increasing static charge levels and the associated fire risk.

Both visual and audio alarms can be activated at remote locations, so alerting personnel to provide immediate attention.

A data logging facility is also incorporated into the system to monitor performance and provide historical data for QC records and QA certification.

Unlike other products that merely provide static 'reporting', the 986 DC Feedback System automatically optimises static charge removal by sensing the residual charge on the target material and reacting to it.

This means that the static control system can operate at optimum performance under a range of conditions without the need for operator intervention. Request a free brochure from Meech International ...
