Slovenian seminar helps stop static

Nigel Taylor outlined how static is caused and the effects it has on production at the second International Graphic exhibition in Slovenia.

Nigel Taylor, head of Meech International's sales office in Budapest, Hungary was recently invited to address delegates at the second International Graphic exhibition in Slovenia The exhibition was visited by 14,000 people over 4 days, an increase of over 30% on the previous show

The organisers, recognising Meech's expertise in the area of static control, called on the company to give a seminar on the problems of static within the print and packaging industry.

To a full house, Nigel Taylor outlined how static is caused and the effects it has on production.

He also discussed the range of static solutions available to help eliminate the problems.

" I was very impressed with the level of expertise of the delegates." said Nigel.

"They were well informed and eager to learn about some of the new technologies Meech has been introducing.

We saw particular interest in our newly launched Ex antistatic systems for use in hazardous areas.
