With over 4,000 visitors from 20 countries, ICE 2007 in Munich was a truly international event for the converting industry.

Exhibiting for the second time, Meech was delighted with both the number and quality of enquiries.

"We were exhibiting our range of static control and web cleaning solutions for this key market" explains Trevor Pimm, Regional Sales Director .

" The management of static electricity is important throughout the converting industry as effective control results in improved quality, increased productivity and ultimately more profit for companies".

"This year we particularly focused on the health and safety aspects of using our static control equipment".

"We received a very encouraging number of enquiries for web cleaning systems and there was also a lot of interest in our Ex product range".

"Meech is the only company that has both close and long range Ex ionisers, which do not require airflow and are fully certified for use in classified hazardous areas".

" Meech also launched the new 992v3 static generator, an innovative product that can be operated to generate a controlled level of static charge that will create a temporary bond between materials.

This versatile product can to be optimised for a variety of applications and a diverse range of materials, resulting in maximum pinning effect without the risk of overload, an ideal solution for bag making and core pinning applications.
