Designed will fit in most Huntsman welding helmets and other branded helmets, a lightweight, auto darkening welding filter can be used with TIG, MIG and MMA down to 20A.

Jackson Products has introduced its CE marked EN379 approved, lightweight, auto darkening welding filter (ADF) 'Huntsman LX' with a 90mm x 110mm window The company told manufacturingtalk.com that the filter will fit in most Huntsman welding helmets and other branded helmets for use in MIG, MMA ('stick') and TIG welding down to 20A

The welder can externally adjust the darkness shade between shades 9-13.

There are also two large adjustment control knobs on the rear, which steplessly adjust the sensitivity.

They also adjust the delay time between 0.2- 0.9s, as in certain welding applications it is necessary to vary the delay to clear after the arc has been extinguished.

The product has clear user graphics as well as a stylish external shade adjustment knob.

Features of Huntsman filters are their reliability and quality.

In this filter, when the arc is struck, it takes less than 0.5 millisec to switch from clear shade 4 to dark giving the welder all-round flexibility ensuring eye safety for a wide range of luminescent arc applications.

The operating temperature range is from -5 deg C (23 deg F) up to +55 deg C (131 deg F).
