One flute carbide end mill upgrades performance in milling aircraft components after successful round of preliminary testing by users.

Milling Operation: Roughing : ap=16mm, ae=17mm, vf=30m/min., Q= 6800cm3/min.

Finishing : ap= 17mm, ae= 0.2mm, vf=2.5m/min., Surface smoothness Ra 0.6microns.

42kW is equal to or less tahn 162cm3/kW.

Drilling Operation: Blind hole 16mm deep, vf= 25m/min., n=25000, in full depth in one step.
