All current and future Zund technologies are fully supported by Jetcam products.
Jetcam International and Zund UK have announced an agreement whereby Jetcam Expert CADCAM software will be offered with all new Zund composite cutting machines.
The agreement, which has been put in place due to several recent successful joint installations in the motorsport and aerospace industries, will ensure that all current and future Zund technologies are fully supported by Jetcam products, with closer co-operation between sales, marketing, technical and development staff of both companies.
Zund UK and Jetcam has already completed several successful installations in the UK for tier 1 and 2 companies in the aerospace and motorsport industries including several Formula 1 manufacturers.
Said Mike Weber, managing director for Jetcam International; "Zund shares our mindset of delivering a complete end-to-end solution for users, rather than simply providing hardware and software.
Automation, optimisation and efficient nests are generated and optimised to take full advantage of Zund's cutting technologies." Added Peter Giddings, sales director for Zund UK; "Both the use and pricing of composite materials are constantly increasing, so an overall solution that focuses on efficiency is paramount.
By working with Jetcam we can concentrate on the end result of getting the most out of the material while optimising the throughput of the machine through features such as inkjet part marking and part identification.".
