Manufacturer of CNC water jet cutting machines, Omax, will add the JETCAM's Expert CADCAM automatic nesting software to its existing range of software packages.
JETCAM International has announced that Omax will add the JETCAM's Expert CADCAM automatic nesting software to its existing range of software packages.
JETCAM has also updated the product to support all Omax water jet machining systems.
JETCAM xdeveloped the software in close cooperation with Omax's technical and marketing staff.
It will ensure that current and future Omax wate jet machines are supported by JETCAM products.
Mike Weber, managing director of JETCAM International, said: "This will allow new and existing Omax customers the ability to purchase the full JETCAM programming and nesting solution".

"Omax is excited to be collaborating with JETCAM, as our latest nesting solution provider to make this possible." JETCAM Expert is a 2D CAD/CAM system with automatic tool path generation and nesting optimization.
It also has multiple levels of automatic and interactive nesting capability.
It generates Omax-compatible tool path files that are highly optimized to efficiently cut as many parts as possible from a given sheet of material (or spanning across multiple sheets).
These files then can be loaded directly into the Omax controller to take advantage of Omax's patented technologies and cutting models for making the parts faster and more precise than other water jet machines can.
