Hopper feeder spreads alumina on steel
plates
Dual drive spreading dosing feeder with hopper spreads alumina on steel plates at feed rates varying from 3.5ft3 per hour to 100ft3 per hour as they pass under it on a roller conveyor.
This novel JVI dosing feeder was recently engineered for a steel plant in Idaho, USA, to spread 120 grit Alumina over steel plates as they pass under it on a roller conveyor A PLC controller is used to start and stop feeding as needed
The feed rate varies from 3.5ft3 per hour to 100ft3 per hour.
The stand is mounted to the edges of the roller conveyor.
This arrangement can be engineered to fit many other applications.
