Commenting on the decision, which coincides with the first anniversary of the site going live, JimFinder's MD Simon Devitt said: "JimFinder has grown rapidly since it's launch on 4th September last year.
We have taken a keen interest in the industry debates over standards of measurement for recruitment websites and decided that ABC ELECTRONIC offered the best route for us".
Explaining the advantages of the audit rather than research route, he continued, "Currently panel based audience measurements, often exclude work based Internet users or do not have adequate representation from the manufacturing and engineering community to produce meaningful results.
ABC ELECTRONIC will provide exact traffic figures based on standard industry metrics".
John Buffey, Online Media Manager for Barkers Advertising, said on hearing of the registration: "I welcome this step in the right direction in providing independent and objective information that the Industry can use as an aid to benchmarking recruitment websites".
