Inline Jiskoot System Increases Crude Oil Sampling
Designed for low maintenance, a Jiskoot inline oil sampling system comprised a 210 sampler and SC9 safe area controller, plus automatic can change and Proserv sampling receivers with proximity sensors
The whole system complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive and the NORSOK I-105 Fiscal Measurement Manual, a Norwegian initiative to reduce development and operation cost for the offshore oil and gas industry.
An important part of this effort is to develop standards to ensure value adding and cost-effectiveness for all parties.
Another advantage in addition to increased reliability was a reduction in required field interface wiring since the Jiskoot EX-SC9 Sampler Controller is mounted in a self-contained cabinet.
The system is operating with a flow rate of 4500m3/hr to 5600 m3/hr at a pressure of 3.5 to 6 barg and has a flange class/rating of ANSI 300lb RF.
