Bag machine leaders AMPLAS have launched several variants of their well known side and bottom weld servo-driven poly bag machines to widen the opportunities for poly bags in flexible packaging The self sealing plastic Valve Bag is an AMPLAS innovation

The product is intended to be a direct replacement for the traditional paper products and will allow large savings on handling and wastage caused by paper bag breakage.

The valve bags are manufactured using an AMPLAS patented process using a bespoke heavy gauge polybag machine made by the company.

Not limited to one type of film or size, the bag has many uses such as feed, cement, concrete, grout and cat litter.

The market will appreciate the rain resistance, the reduced cost, the strength and the ability to run with existing filling equipment.

AMPLAS have delivered the first of the M2K Stand-up Square Bottom bag machines in the USA as a replacement solution for the paper bags used in fast food outlets.

M2K machines can produce one million bags per day -material and waste volume costs are reduced and the customer response has proved very positive.

Since AMPLAS started marketing machines in the UK in 1987, many installations have been made, with all machines still operative.

The latest 1416 bottom weld with digital servo can run 140 one metre bags per minute!.
