Low hazard oil used in aluminium
machining
A synthetic, biodegradable, neat cutting oil satisfied the requirement for a low viscosity, low hazard and low residue fluid for use in mist lubrication when machining aluminium components.
John Neale has satisfied another customer with their premium quality, fully synthetic, biodegradable, neat cutting oil Envirocut SE10 The IS Group, Flint, Wales, was after a product which would offer best in class performance for sawing aluminium

Lubricant additives benefit SS tube drawing
Work to significantly enhance the lubrication of highly chlorinated tube drawing lubricants - and deep drawing - has lead to the discovery of additives which offer considerable performance benefits.
Lubricants smooth severe cold metal reductions
A range of lubricants can be applied as a coating for the most severe cold reductions in stainless steel alloy, and titanium and are suitable for the most arduous operations.
Low viscosity, low hazard and low residue were very important as the product was to be used in a mist application on aluminium parts, which would require manual handling after processing.
The recommended product was Envirocut SE10, a saturated, fully synthetic product of the highest possible performance.
A sample was supplied and trials undertaken to prove the capability of the product After extensive testing Mike from the IS-Group confirm the superior performance of this particular product.
His comments were as follows.
* No stickyness or gumming on the nozzles, due to the excellent thermal and oxidative stability of the product.
* Excellent surface finish, due to the advance lubricity additives used.
* Very clean finish, due to the excellent solvency of the lubricant.
* Very low odour, none of that unpleasant oily odour, due to the high purity of the product.
* Lower consumption as the lubricant 'wets' and lubricates so efficiently.
These specific benefits combined with the higher smoke and flash points of this fluid, low hazard with no hazard labeling, no oil mist hazard, low viscosity, and wide application capability, make Envirocut SE10 a product of choice for aluminium sawing applications and sawing, cutting, machining of other non-ferrous and ferrous metals.
Envirocut SE10 is one of a range of premium synthetic lubricants which can give environmental and health and safety improvements to metals working processes.
