Tube-making company wanted to eliminate solvent degreasing of their copper tube but still have very clean annealed copper tube - and also wanted one lubricant for all tube drawing processes.

John Neale has introduced a high performance synthetic, clean anneal, copper tube lubricant to its range of high performance tube lubricants Delmas Tubes wanted to remove the requirement for solvent degreasing of their copper tube but still have very clean annealed copper tube

They also wanted one lubricant for all their tube drawing processes.

John Neale produced a bespoke lubricant based on their proven clean anneal lubricant technology.

This was trialed successfully.

The lubricant gave the premium drawing performance expected of a premium fully synthetic lubricant.

The surface finish was excellent, there were no breakages, and the annealed tube was of superior cleanliness without any degreasing.

Superdraw EOP is a blend of special polymers and fatty compounds which burn off cleanly in the anneal process to leave residues of <0.01%.

This clean anneal performance is very different to that obtained using traditional copper tube lubricants where residues can be 0.2% or more.

The selection of fatty compounds which give the enhance lubrication and clean anneal performance is based on many years of experience.

This ensures that oxidation deposits do not occur.

Superdraw EOP is suitable for drawing copper tube from the first break down draw to finishing with either single shot or recirculation systems.

This product is one of a range of trouble solving lubricants for non-ferrous and ferrous tube drawing.
