Thixotropic cleaner clings and avoids corrosion
JohnsonDiversey has developed EnduroPower, a new cleaning concept whose thixotropic property prevents drying on surfaces, which means less corrosion.
Centrifugal fans offer high flow rates
A range of centrifugal fans, designed with fume extraction in mind, are single inlet types, with forward sloping blades and offer flow rates of up to 3185m3/hr (1875ft3/min).
Safety and security products save money
Specialising in systems for safety, security and control for vehicles, plant and machinery, systems are tailored for industrial use and often pay for themselves on reduced insurance premiums alone.
Although this may be a daunting task, JohnsonDiversey is making it easy with its new Enduropower line of products.
Neither a foam nor a gel, it is a superior technology that makes it possible to reduce cleaning cost by saving time, water, energy and labour for the food, dairy and beverage industries.
Foaming detergents have been the traditional way to enhance contact between the cleaning solution and the surface to be cleaned.
However foam will quickly collapse and dry, particularly if it is allowed to remain in place for more than five minutes.
If foam cleaners are allowed to dry, it is very difficult to remove them by rinsing and often requires reapplication the foam.
Enduropower products use surfactants, which, in solution, form polar rod shaped particles called micelles to make more viscous cleaning solutions.
This chemistry is also more hydrophilic, able to hold water for longer periods of time and therefore extending cleaning activity and increasing rinsability.
The resulting major advantages are that it goes on faster with a single pass, is active substantially longer and requires less product because reapplication is eliminated.
Enduropower products can be applied using special nozzles that provide wide coverage in one application.
They coat evenly and stay in place.
Furthermore, Enduropower cleaners help avoid dry-on issues by rehydrating and rinsing freely.
These new cleaners can be applied by most commonly available foaming equipment with or without air.
They can also be applied using automatic sanitation systems.
These systems can automatically clean, rinse and sanitise the external surfaces of fillers, egg breakers and conveyors.
They work especially well with Enduropower products.
