Connect many devices on same safety circuit
A cost effective solution makes it possible to connect many types of safety devices on the same safety circuit and still achieve category 4 according to EN 954-1.
Focus Light Grids come in 2,3 and 4 beam systems and have the ability to take inputs direct from bypass or muting sensors.
All that is required is a safety relay to be wired into the safety circuit.
For more complex systems, a FMC control unit allows the user to make bypass connections external to the light grid and also connect in a FMI unit.
The FMI is used to give indication of the bypass and allow the user to manually bypass the light grid when a pallet gets jammed on a conveyor.
FMF mounting frames can be supplied to suit the users personal requirements.
These are either "T" or "L" shaped frames and they can be made to customers specifications.
Focus Light grids, FMC and FMI have across sectional area of 35 x 45mm and can be mounted on to the FMF frame.
There are five sizes of Focus light grids ranging from 500 to 1200mm and both type 2 and type 4 versions are available.
