safety
As power press systems become more complex, function blocks can be used to modify the safety system by software, so less time is needed compared with hard wiring.
Jokab Safety have added new function blocks for Pluto Safety PLC These function blocks are designed towards the power press market and have been developed in conjunction with some European Press manufacturers
They are an ideal tool for both OEM's and end users.
Jokab Safety designed these function blocks to assist engineers when they need to update machines.
While systems become more complex, engineers can have the ability to use these function blocks in order to modify the safety system by software, therefore less time is consumed compared to using a conventional hard wire system.
There are three function blocks to consider.
Single Press Stroke for single start input Single Press Stroke for two-hand input Press Valve monitoring.
A description of these function blocks is available in PDF format upon request.
