He subsequently held senior positions within the company's Engineering, Finance and Business Planning Functions and completed a three-year Diploma in Industrial Management before moving to Minerva Industrial Systems in 1985.
Roost's role in growing this business from start up to a $25 million organisation with 250 staff was reflected in his appointment as the company's Managing Director in 1990.
He later became European Region Manager for TRW Systems Europe , where he held full profit and loss responsibility for four separate IT businesses operating in the UK, Germany, Netherlands and Poland.
Roost's new position follows his appointment as Group Sales Director for Planit Solutions - a division of Planit Holdings - in January 2004.
Married with one daughter, Peter Roost has lived in Gloucestershire for many years enjoying a wide range of the varied pursuits the county has to offer.
