Adhesive applied precisely at high speed
Electro-magnetic glue gun applies dots or lines of adhesive at very high speed. It can be fitted anywhere along the folder gluer and is used in the manufacture of cartons.
Key Capital Equipment (KCE) has recently added Zator's wide range of glue systems to its expanding portfolio of equipment for the corrugated, carton, print finishing and converting sectors Manufactured in Milan, the cutting-edge Italian technology, which includes microprocessors, guns and pumps, has been specially developed to guarantee precision application of adhesive at high speed

Glue solutions now offered by UK-based agent, KCE, include two types of microprocessor designed for control of electro-magnetic and pneumatic glue guns.
The MZ 04 model is ideal for two or four-gun systems whereas the MZ 08 is more commonly used with five or more.
For added flexibility, both models operate independent channels, allowing guns to be individually programmed to apply lines or dots of glue in different patterns.
Zator's DLK 22 electro-magnetic glue gun applies dots or lines of adhesive at very high speed.
It can be fitted anywhere along the folder gluer, is typically used in the manufacture of cartons, and available with a short (DLK 22 K) or long (DLK 22 L) nozzle.
It handles medium viscosity cold glue with a maximum pressure of 20 bar and a special micrometric adjustment knob allows fine control of dot or line sizes, eliminating the need for extra tools.
In addition, KCE is also supplying Zator's highly accurate piston pumps.
The popular ZP124130 P model comprises a cold glue feed unit fitted on a plastics cover, making it easy to transfer to a standard size glue bucket for cleaning.
It features a stainless steel filter for reducing the pulse effect of the pump and a pressure regulator maintains constant glue quantity at every speed.
John Harrison, Managing Director, KCE, comments: "Zator is a young, progressive business with an experienced team behind it and this is reflected in the quality of its products.
We have been keen to add glue systems to our portfolio for some time but never found the right solution in terms of range, design, reliability and cost.
We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the company." KCE supplies state-of-the-art equipment to major blue chip companies within the corrugated, converting, carton and print finishing sectors.
