Demonstrations of a modular grinding machine system showed complete CBN processing of large crankshafts with simultaneous processing of main and/or pin bearings.

At the EMO in Hanover, the grinding of crankshafts for truck engines was a major tradeshow subject for Junker The Automotive operational division of the innovative company with the long-standing tradition, which is located in the German Black Forest, demonstrated rough- and finish-grinding operations on crankshafts using a Jucrank 6 L pin chasing grinding machine at its booth

The Jucrank 6 L is the first machine of the new Evolution_ machine generation.

As a modular machine concept, it primarily offers economical advantages.

The successful grinding technology developed by Junker remains unchanged.

The type range which can be processed by Jucrank machines covers all crankshaft types used in the automotive, car and truck sector, from single- to twelve-cylinder motors.

The machine design of the Jucrank 6 L is perfectly tailored to the complete CBN processing of large crankshafts.

It enables the simultaneous processing of the main and/or pin bearings with two grinding spindle heads.

Yet, the tremendous global success of this machine concept is not solely based on its technological qualities.

For customers, the economic factors are just as important.

This is why the Jucrank 6 L comes in as the perfect solution as it fulfils even maximum productivity demands.

The Jucrank 6 L demonstrated pin chasing grinding operations on the pin bearings of a six-cylinder truck crankshaft with a length of 1070mm and a weight of 102kg.
