Top frame innovation
Kaysersberg Plastics has introduced a new range of top frames that it claims is the modern way to unitise and stabilise pallet loads of empty cans, PET bottles and glass bottles.
Kaysersberg Plastics offers no less than 10 type/size variations of its RCM Pallets, which it claims, ensures there is a plastic, slot-in alternative to every common size of pallet currently used in the European Rigid Container Industry.
This ensures compatibility with existing automated handling systems and eases the 'change to plastic'.
With the introduction and growing use of both manual and automated pallet washing systems, in the rigid container industry, there is now a need for a truly washable, hygienic plastic pallet.

Combi-Pak Shows its Versatility
The Combi-Pak from Kaysersberg Plastics is a large scale, made to measure box pallet for carrying lightweight but bulky items.
RCM Pallets have been designed to meet this ever-increasing demand for higher hygiene through washability.
All RCM Pallets are structurally moulded from USDA approved HDPE, material that is 100% recyclable.
Unlike their wooden counterparts, they are easy to clean and will not harbour microbial growth.
RCM Pallets do not rot, mould, mildew, corrode or splinter, reducing the potential for pallet fragments to contaminate the filling process.
RCM Pallets are dimensionally stable in terms of weight and size making them ideally suitable for use with check weighing systems and automated handling systems.
In what is inevitably a high-speed environment, the use of RCM pallets helps maintain the flow of production by being automation friendly and highly compatible with auto-feeders, stackers and de-stackers, conveyors and strapping machines.
They offer true 4 way entry for fork lifts and low profile pallet trucks and are light and easy to clean, yet their rugged construction protects goods far better than a wooden pallet ever could.
And, with a useful life of up to 10x that of wooden pallets RCM Pallets are claimed to offer substantial cost savings when used in closed loop distribution systems.
The RCM Pallets are complemented by UniFrame all plastic top-frames and solid or twin wall layer pads to ensure that container manufacturers have a complete solution to their transit packaging requirements...
all from a single source.
Kaysersberg Plastics also offers the option of integrating RFID (Radio frequency Identification) transponders within the body of the pallet during manufacture.
These devices, either active or passive provide unique identification for each pallet.
Coded information such as pallet contents and intended destination can be written and rewritten to the tag for each trip and read on demand with authorised hand held or fixed readers.
RFID is considered a valuable tool in the quest for complete QA traceability and asset tracking.
