Operator friendly rework system combines precision surface mount component removal and replacement in PCBs with optical alignment to provide absolute control in positioning and repeatability.

The APE Sniper operator friendly BGA rework system from Kaisertech combines precision component removal and replacement with optical alignment It is suitable for use with a range of surface mount components and has been designed to provide absolute control in positioning together with a high degree of process repeatability in what previously has been a variable process highly dependent on operator skill

The machine provides fast registration and does not require adjusting mirrors or lengthy set-up periods when changing between component types.

A split image of the component and PCB component pattern is viewed on a colour monitor, and axis adjustment is made with a vacuum locked PCB worktable.

Once aligned the component is automatically placed at the press of a button.

An integral process controller can create up to 16 profiles, and sixteen steps within each profile.

Additionally the Sniper is supplied with Windows compatible software so that it can be PC driven with the ability of creating an infinite number of profiles and storing comprehensive data. Request a free brochure from Kaisertech ...
