Rework and repair station for through-hole and SMT boards has a digital read out, which makes the station more controllable and control functions are integrated.

The new JBC AM 6800 rework station from Kaisertech has a digital read out, which makes the station more controllable.

Additionally the control console functions have been integrated into the station and there is password protection.

A hibernation mode enables the tools to cool down when not in use and the hibernation start time can be programmed.

Once a tool is picked up, it returns to working temperature within seconds.

The station includes hot air, desoldering, pick and place and soldering modules to cover the main tasks for through-hole and SMT board rework and repair.

The hot air module can desolder any size of SMD component, a medium size unit being handled in less than 20s.

It uses protectors and extractors and hot-air flow, which make desoldering safe, clean and quick by concentrating the heat on the IC while protecting the rest of the circuit at the same time.

The desoldering iron has a self-contained vacuum pump and can also be used to clean components and pads.

Alternatively hot air tweezers can be used in its place.

A manual pick and place suction pencil is provided and the system is completed with one of a range of soldering irons.

Furthermore other tools can be connected to the station to tailor its configuration to individual user needs.
