Newly launched business unit in Paris includes a new division for Scandinavia and Benelux

Katun Corporation, the world's largest supplier of OEM-compatible supplies and parts to the office equipment industry, has announced the expansion of Christophe Capony's role as country manager In addition to managing his existing territories of France, Belgium and Switzerland, Mr Capony will now direct Katun's sales strategies in Benelux, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland

Christophe Capony joined Katun France as a sales manager in 2003 and was promoted to country manager of France, Belgium and Switzerland in early 2006.

Capony's strong business expertise resulted in the successful rapid deployment of operational, service and technical upgrades in these countries.

In his new position, Capony will focus on driving Katun's market share in Benelux and Scandinavia, and to continue to build the strong sales momentum that he initiated in the French market.

Capony will continue to report to Karl Cerny, senior vice president and general manager of the company's Europe/ Africa/Middle East business unit.

Katun's European sales operation has expanded to include Scandinavia and Iceland, including a sales support office in Sweden.

A new central Business Unit has been established in Paris.

Customer service centres will be located in Paris and the Netherlands, staffed by a support team with a high level of technical training.

Katun maintains a network of sales representatives in the countries.

Christophe Capony, age 40, possesses a high level of professional international management expertise and holds an MBA from ESSEC in Paris.

"Katun's sales operations are continuing to expand to new countries".
