"This saw is giving us excellent service," says Neil Weaver, Team leader.
Operating at the company's Wollaston, West Midlands factory, the saw has an input feed table and auto-loading material magazine.
It can handle stock lengths from 3000 to 6250mm.
Under CNC, the saw is typically cutting rafts of 25mm diameter tube, automatically fed, at a rate that keeps pace with the operator's ability to remove and bin them for onward processing.
