World's fastest bandsaws to go on show

A Kaltenbach product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Feb 28, 2006

The world's fastest bandsaws by some margin, with cutting speeds that need to be seen to be believed, will be shown at MACH 2006 along with a high-speed mono-spindle 3-axis drill for fabrication work.

Kaltenbach will be demonstrating an extensive range of new machines at MACH 2006, with the common benefit of providing further marked advances in process speed and efficiency.

This includes the new Behringer HBM 'Aluminium Package' machines, the world's fastest bandsaws by some margin, with cutting speeds that need to be seen to be believed.

Also having its first public showing is the Kaltenbach KDM, high-speed mono-spindle 3-axis drill, which provides the ideal combination of performance and cost effectiveness, particularly for fabrication work.

Kaltenbach automatic and unmanned circular saws and a broad selection of bandsaws will be shown for both straight and mitre-cutting.

Machines for every application and budget will be displayed, whether for small machine shop or structural process line.

This includes a 1m wide capacity Gietart shot blasting system and the latest saw/drill close-coupled combinations.

Demonstrations will give visitors a first hand opportunity to witness the performance of this latest generation of highly efficient Kaltenbach machines.

* Kaltenbach at MACH 2006, NEC, Birmingham, UK, May 15-19, Hall 4, Stand 4634.
