Kaltenbach to show saw blade management
German sawing machine builder, Kaltenbach, has a control system that influences cut accuracy, blade life and overall cycle times of straight cutting bandsaws.

Manual override is included.
KBS750DG/KDS615 sawing/multi-axis drilling - the system will be demonstrated, with the latest, unique to Kaltenbach, 'solid-carbide' drills.
Solid-carbide cuts five times faster than HSS and three times faster than TCT.
The drills can be re-sharpened to greatly reduce cost/cut.
A new 'Contour Marking' pneumatically driven system inscribes profiles for fitting, or processing, or alpha/numeric details onto structural steel materials.
HBM440 ALU bandsaw - is claimed by Kaltenbach to be the world's fastest machine for automatic straight cutting of non-ferrous materials.
It will be shown with a selection of Behringer straight and mitre cutting bandsaws.
KPS506 Punch and Shear Line - for fast efficient strip-fed plate processing, plus drilling and plasma-arc cutting options.
Stierli Bierger Rotator handling system - to ease the handling, welding and processing, etc, of fabricated structural materials.
Circular blade, precision saws - Kaltenbach will demonstrate its market leading KKS and SKL upstroking saws, which cut ferrous and ferrous metals.
