Tan added: "We appreciate and thank Caltron Co's efforts in promoting Keithley's products in the past." Keithley has a corporate strategy of emphasizing global sales.
More than 50 percent of its sales come from outside of the United States.
The company maintains branch sales offices in 15 countries and also has sales representatives in more than 76 countries around the world.
* Applications and markets - Keithley offers a broad line of test and measurement solutions for engineers and scientists throughout the world in dozens of disciplines.
The company markets highly accurate instruments and data acquisition products that measure low levels of voltage, resistance, current, capacitance, and charge.
Its products are found in materials research labs conducting tests to develop new nanotechnology materials, to prototyping and process development, to complete system solutions for high volume production and assembly testing.
Keithley focuses on developing new solutions for the broader electronics industry, as well as for several primary markets: * Semiconductor - electronic test solutions both for semiconductor labs and wafer processing as well as nanotechnology research.
Test systems are designed for materials research, device characterization, reliability testing and wafer monitoring applications and include Automated Parametric Test systems, Wafer Level Reliability systems, and I-V/C-V test systems.
* Wireless/RF - a broad line of fully integrated product solutions for testing RF and microwave components and devices such as cellular phones/handsets, infrastructure, WLAN, and RFICs.
These testing solutions are widely used in product design, production, and QA/QC labs.
* Electronics manufacturing - low voltage and current measurement instruments, switching and sources that are ideal for making accurate measurements on a broad variety of active and passive components used in applications and industries such as optoelectronic devices and displays, automotive, military/aerospace, medical, and others that require a combination of measurement precision and high throughput.
* About Keithley Instruments - with more than 50 years of measurement expertise, Keithley Instruments has become a world leader in advanced electrical test instruments and systems from DC to RF (radio frequency) geared to the specialized needs of electronics manufacturers for high performance production testing, process monitoring, product development, and research.
By building upon our strength in electrical measurement solutions for research, Keithley has become a production test technology leader for the semiconductor, wireless, optoelectronics, and other precision electronics segments of the worldwide electronics industry.
The value we provide to our customers is a combination of precision measurement technology and a rich understanding of their applications, which enables them to improve the quality, throughput, and yield of their products.
