Technical sales engineer to cover
northern England
Welding equipment manufacturer, Kemppi (UK), has appointed Jeff Jarvis as their new Technical Sales Engineer for the North of England.

He joins the company with a wealth of industrial experience that will benefit Kemppi customers1 pre and post sale.
Trained as a Pipe Fitter/Welder at Rochdale Technical College, Jeff also studied Mechanical and Electromechanical Engineering whilst working at William Birch Engineering in Manchester, fabricating industrial textile machinery.
Initially employed in general fabrication he quickly adopted a more central welding and engineering role enjoying a diverse industrial experience during his 10 years with the company.
In January 1994, he moved to Germany, joining Algie Alfred Giehl Hydrolik.
As a member of the senior welding engineering staff, he was responsible for the co-ordination of the welding and fabrication of hydraulic lift systems, oil tanks and cylinders.
A fluent German speaker, Jeff was also responsible for staff training, programming and operation of Robotic machinery, skills he later found valuable at Cromech Engineering in Manchester, who he joined in 1997 and certainly gaining valuable experience for his new role at Kemppi UK.
Following his initial product familiarisation training at Kemppi, Jeff will join his sales area in early April and looks forward to meeting all of Kemppi's existing customers within his region.
Jeff said: "Customer communication formed a great part of my previous employment responsibility, a role I have always enjoyed.
Joining Kemppi is an exciting career move and I look forward to serving our customers throughout my sales area." Jeff will operate from a purpose built demonstration vehicle equipped with Kemppi1s latest welding equipment range.
Jeff lives in Prestwich, Manchester and is a keen sports fan, having played semi-professional football, he now prefers to watch the game from the touch line rather than play.
Other interests include travel and wine.
