Lightweight welding helmets give full protection to the welder against radiation from the welding arc and spatter, without compromising his/her visibility or comfort.

Welding equipment manufacturer, Kemppi (UK), whose parent company is Kemppi OY in Lahti, Finland has launched the Beta lightweight welding helmets to give full protection to the welder against radiation from the welding arc and spatter, without compromising his/her visibility or comfort.

These new CE marked helmets have been designed to give the welder optimum visibility without the need to intermittently remove or adjust his/her helmet.

They also protect the welder's chin, ears and throat allowing him/her to focus on the job at hand.

The helmet design and shape also allows the welder to weld in comfort without the need to compromise safety in tight and awkward positions such as corners.

A feature of the Beta helmets is that they have spring mounted flip front lens allowing the welder to complete his/her weld preparations or undertake grinding in poorly lit conditions without the need to remove the helmet.

The helmet is supplied with either 60mm x 110mm or 90mm x 110mm filter lenses.

The 100% clear safety lens is safety assured for grinding operations meeting EN 175B impact resistance classification.

The Beta 60A, 90A and 90X helmets are fitted with automatic darkening LCD filters, giving 100% protection in all welding applications.

The 60A and 90A are supplied with fixed and sensitive shade lens 3/10.5 and 3/11 for MMA and MIG welding, whilst the 90X has shade and sensitivity adjustment for MMA, MIG and TIG welding.
