Modular MIG/MAG welder makes root passes
A modular three-phase 230/440V MIG/MAG welding system includes software that provides easy control of root closure, for ferrous and stainless steel pipe root passes where MMA is currently employed.
FastMig is a new modular three-phase 230/440V MIG/MAG industrial welding system from Kemppi (UK), based in Bedford, whose parent company is Kemppi OY in Lahti, Finland FastMig gets it name from 'Formula Arc System Technology' (FAST), a concept generated by Kemppi's design engineers to integrate the use of many of the Company's latest technical innovations to make welding easier

Aluminium welds are spatter-free
When one of the World's leaders in On and Off-Road motorcycles, CCM Motorcycles, needed to improve production outputs they turned to Kemppi's PRO 4000 Synergic MIG welding equipment.
Compact TIG machines offer precise control
Kemppi (UK) has launched Mastertig MLST (Multi Logic System) 2500 and 3500 TIG welding machines, which feature compact size and a wide power generator voltage range.
The internal digital communications of FastMig is 10 times faster than earlier designs helping to improve weld quality FastMig is available in both basic and Synergic MIG/MAG versions and has been designed for use in the most demanding industrial welding environments.
It offers the professional welder a wide choice of technology levels through a range of six power sources (three Basic and three Synergic), including 300A, 400A and 500A models providing welding voltages of 10V-42V.
FastMig power to weight ratio is extremely good as all models are 70% lighter and 10% more power efficient than existing 'step switched' machines.

TIG welding machines have interchangeable panels
With these compact TIG welding machines, the user can quickly plug in one of three panels to select the operating mode to suit the best individual requirements.
Compact MIG/MAG welder also uses flux-cored wires
Designed for sheet metal work as well as demanding repair, maintenance and general fabrication work, a compact MIG/MAG welder has the latest rectifier technology for excellent welding characteristics.
The maximum power source weight is 36kg for the 500A model.
* Make root passes with MIG - Kemppi's new FastROOT FAST software for root pass welding provides easy and fast control of root closure, ideal for ferrous and stainless steel pipe root welding where MMA is currently employed.
FastROOT welding process is available on FastMig Synergic models only.
FastMig wire feed units all weighing less than 14kg, are ergonomically designed and include two double skinned heavy duty, recyclable plastics bodied models, with the Basic models having no electronics in the wire feed units.
All wire feed units include heavy duty wire feed mechanisms, which have high torque motors with a precision gearbox and drive.
All FastMig models include 'easy to read' digital meters as standard on either the power source or the wire feed unit depending on the model selected.
All models include specially enabled 'SoftArc' ignition and filler wire ball removal software to reduce spatter and post weld cleaning time.
FastMig Synergic machines have a wide range of weld programs supporting most filler wire and gas combinations.
They can also include MMA, MIG/MAG arc control with crater fill and hot start functions.
Kemppi's new HydroCool pump technology, which is 50% smaller than earlier pumps and features a 30% increase in pressure capacity and an 85% reduction in weight, all of which help to reduce dissipated coolant heat levels.
It can also be used with Ethanol mixtures.
All FastMig machines include Kemppi's ICS (Isolated Cooling System), which separates the cooling airflow between the power and control electronics reducing dust and dirt contamination.
It also reduces routine servicing requirements and maintenance costs.
