Welding equipment manufacturer's revamped Web site includes customer applications, with information on how the right welding equipment was found as well as basic welding information.

Finnish Welding equipment manufacturer, Kemppi, whose UK company Kemppi (UK), is based in Bedford, has this month launched its new Internet Web site.

One of the main aims has been to improve the Company's service to the customer as well as bring the site closer to the end user.

The new site not only provides information about the company's products, it gives useful information and advice about the welding processes as well as support in finding the right welding solution.

Emphasis has been placed in designing the new site for appearance, usability and content so that the user can easily find the information he/she requires.

The home page provides examples of the different ways to use Kemppi welding machines together with product and company news.

Using actual customer applications, information is available on how Kemppi found the right welding equipment solutions.

Basic information about welding, maintenance tips for Kemppi equipment, information about welding standards and safe use of welding equipment can also be found.

The site makes finding the right product easy with users able to browse by product groups, by the welding process, the material type or thickness.

Product brochures and manuals can be downloaded in PDF format.

John Frost, director sales and marketing, Kemppi (UK), said: "We are global supplier of welding equipment continually striving to improve the technology of our products and the service we offer, so it is just as important that we have a website that portrays this.

We are currently asking users to evaluate the new site for us, by letting us know how they find it.

They can do this by using the feedback form on the site and as an enticement we are offering prizes for the responses with the best and most useful advice.

This will ensure that if necessary we can improve the site even further.".
