With the introduction of "KM micro", this tooling system has been expanded to accommodate automatic straight-turning machines such as Citizen, Star, Hardinge, Tornos, DGM, etc.

It is available in a 16mm size.

Countless very small components are produced on these machines, such as connectors and mountings for the aerospace industry, medical and dental parts, automotive components such as injection valves, electric motors and parts for telecommunications and IT equipment such as drive components.

What's more, near-net-shape machining is gaining ground, boosting demand for micro-machining tools.

Km micro enables the highly flexible machining of complete parts, such as turning, copy milling, thread cutting, grooving and parting, on small lathes and in very confined spaces.

KM micro represents the introduction onto the market of a comprehensive rapid tool change system for extremely cost-efficient machining of very small components.
