Micro tooling system speeds up auto lathe changes
Quick-change tooling system for automatic lathes, featured in the "Micro Machining Tools" catalogue, has achieved time savings of up to 40% and can be used in turning and boring operations.
Modular drill can be changed in the machine
Modular high-performance drill, that can be changed while in the machine, adds value by reducing machining time and down-time in drilling operations.
Making this the ideal grade in the P10 range for dry machining with increased cutting speed.
KC9225 for general purpose steel machining has a tougher substrate and because of that is optimally suited for metal cutting of work pieces with a forged or cast scale.
It is also ideal for interrupted cutting.
Also using an advanced MT-CVD coating, KC9225 displays a unique combination of toughness and wear resistance.
The new grades are offered in the entire application spectrum of Kenna Perfect geometries specifically designed to optimise chip formation in steel materials.
Wiper inserts with a specially designed periphery provide an outstanding workpiece surface finish.
The -FW (Finishing Wiper), -MW (Medium Wiper) and -RW (Roughing Wiper) are the most economical application concepts for increased productivity.
This means both an improved surface finish and increased feed rates.
Kenloc and Screw on inserts complete the program offering for optimal solutions in external and internal machining as well as Heavy Duty turning.
Both new grades can be found in the new Lathe catalog from Kennametal Hertel: The Kenna Perfect selection system contained in the new lathe catalogue as well as the computer supported WINTOMS expert system guides you in simple selection steps to the optimum tool selection with recommended cutting parameters.
