High speed tool adaptors aimed at mould
and die
Rotationally-symmetrical design and the very low residual unbalance feature tool adaptors designed for machines with high-frequency spindles rotating at speeds of up to 40,000 rpm.
HSK tool adaptors for high-speed machining Kennametal is meeting the requirements of high-speed machining in mould and die production with an additional programme of tool adaptors in the HSK40A, HSK40E and HSK50E systems The adaptors are designed for machines with high-frequency spindles rotating at speeds of up to 40,000 rpm
The new programme includes hydraulic expansion chucks, thermo shrink-fit adaptors, collet chucks, Weldon- and Whistle-Notch adaptors (only HSK40A), milling arbors, blanks and gauge bars.
The Form E HSK tool adaptors can additionally be used with a coolant tube analog to HSK Form A enabling the usage of high-pressure coolant.
The rotationally-symmetrical design and the very low residual unbalance provide the perfect conditions for extremely high speeds.
As the taper Form E is designed without keyways the transmission of torque happens by friction only.
