KSHM low power - high productivity face mill series for universal and more cost-efficient machining of steel, cast irons, stainless steels and aluminium.

With its new KSHM low power high productivity face mill series, Kennametal introduces a universal and more cost-efficient option for machining steel, cast iron materials, stainless steels and aluminium.

The KSHM milling cutters are available in the diameter range 32 to 160mm in medium and fine pitch.

The positive HP.T06T3DZ six-edged indexable inserts are available in five different geometries.

High performance carbide grades cover the entire ISO range of roughing and finishing applications.

The pressed and ground indexable inserts are suitable for cutting depths to 4.5mm.

Depending on the combination of indexable insert geometries, it is possible to achieve surface finishes of Rz = 4micron.

The KSHM low power high productivity face mill series by Kennametal represents a newly developed high productivity tool which can be deployed on the full range of machining centers and CNC milling machines available in today's market place.
