Latest coated carbide milling grades for medium to heavy machining of steel and nodular CI enable users to increase tool life by up to 30% - a considerable advantage in production.

Kennametal's new carbide milling grades enable users to increase tool life by up to 30 % - a considerable advantage in production The new, coated carbide KC935M grade is excellent for medium to heavy machining of steel, VA steel and nodular cast iron

It can be used in dry as well as in wet operations.

The new KC915M grade is used for light to medium machining of grey and nodular cast iron.

Both carbide grades stand out by virtue of particularly high reliability and consistant performance, combined with exceptional cutting speed, even under the toughest conditions.

KC935M and KC915M demonstrate increased heat resistance without any loss of cutting edge stability.

This is achieved by combining the further-developed substrate with the new Kennametal MTCVD multilayer coating.

The new MTCVD coating process improves adhesion with the substrate and guarantees better and more even layer build-up with the same coating thickness.

Quality is additionally improved by further post coating treatment to produce smoother surfaces, permitting problem-free chip removal.

The main area of application for the new TN2510 coated carbide grade is in the light to medium machining of hot working steels, stellites and cast iron up to 64 HRC.

TN2510 is versatile in use - even under unfavourable conditions such as large overhangs.

Excellent wear resistance and cutting edge stability guarantee production reliability and cost-efficiency at high cutting speeds and feeds in demanding machining operations.
