Two milling cutter systems - one
indexable insert
Two milling cutter systems - a square shoulder mill and a helical cutter - use only one type of insert for the universal machining of steel, cast iron materials and stainless steels.
For the new milling cutter systems M680 Plus (square shoulder mill) and M300 Plus (helical cutter) from Kennametal, users only need one type AONT10T308 of indexable insert This stable indexable insert is offered in proven grade selection with three positive geometries for the universal machining of steel, cast iron materials and stainless steels

Micro tooling system speeds up auto lathe changes
Quick-change tooling system for automatic lathes, featured in the "Micro Machining Tools" catalogue, has achieved time savings of up to 40% and can be used in turning and boring operations.
Both milling cutter systems feature large chip flutes which ensure excellent chip flow.
Air/coolant is supplied centrally through holes in the chip flutes, which guarantees optimal cooling of the tool.
Even under heavy stresses, both cutter systems are very smooth-running.
What's more, milling performance is optimal, especially in unfavourable conditions, e.g whenever there is a tendency for vibration.
The new design of the milling cutter systems and the positive indexable inserts requires only low power consumption.
High process reliability is a further important feature of both series.
The M680 Plus series is offered on shank-type, integral and shell type designs.
The M300 Plus helical cutter series offers shanks to DIN 1835-B and DIN 69871-AD.
