Carbide grades designed for difficult
materials
Two carbide grades feature a new nanostructured high-performance coating which optimally meets the high demands of machining aerospace, turbine and medical engineering alloys.
The newly developed carbide grades KC5510 and KC5525 with the MS and FS chipbreakers from Kennametal have been designed specifically for difficult-to-machine materials as used in the aerospace, turbine, medical engineering and food-processing industries In addition, both grades feature a new nanostructured high-performance coating which optimally meets the high demands of this type of machining
