for lathes
Modular quick-change tooling system for use on conventional and CNC lathes dramatically increases the flexibility and productivity of turning machines.
Kennametal launches a new modular quick-change tooling system for use on conventional and CNC lathes KM25 offers the possibility of dramatically increasing the flexibility and productivity of turning machines with no need for any modification and is unique to Kennametal
At 25x25mm, the shank dimensions of the clamping unit are identical to those of standard ISO tool holders.
This means an ISO turning holder can be swapped for a KM25 modular holder simply and easily.
With clamping units and cutting units for external machining (KM25 OD) and clamping units, extensions, collet chuck, boring bar holders and cutting units for internal machining (KM3225 ID), Kennametal offers a complete program for all current lathe applications.
This system is ideal for machines with a power rating of up to 25kW and guarantees short tool changeover times and a high levels of repeatable accuracy.
