The KenTIP drilling system stands out for its high level of reliability and ease of use.
The disposable cutting tip can be changed quickly both on and off the machine.
The optimized cutting geometry delivers consistently high tool life and generates little or no burrs.
KenTIP drills machine holes consistent in both size and tolerance which is not always easy to achieve with re-ground solid carbide drills.
The existing program, with holders for 3xD and 5xD has been complemented by the addition of an 8xD version.
All three variants are available either with a flange and parallel clamping flat or with a cylindrical shank.
In addition KenTIP drill bodies for 3xD, 4xD and 5xD drilling depths are now available for the proven Kennametal BF drilling and chamfering system.
This means tools for drilling and chamfering operations can now be rapidly changed without the need for length adjustments for re-ground drills.
