With its new PVD coated grade TN6030 (HC-P30) Widia extends its product offering for drilling and grooving applications This new addition to the Widia range gives extended tool life even in the most demanding operations resulting in higher productivity

TN6030 has an optimized balance of toughness and wear resistance which, combined with superior edge strength, give this new PVD coated carbide very high resistance to crack propagation.

When using TN6030 for drilling and grooving applications, increases in feeds and speeds can result in productivity gains of up to 30%.

Reducing cost and improving output TN6030 also has been engineered to provide high resistance to oxidation and a high level of hot hardness.

These properties ensure stable and reliable tool life under a wide range of applications.
