A world wide supplier of tooling and materials, Kennametal, is strengthening its competitive position in Russia by opening a dedicated branch office in Moscow.

Kennametal, leading global supplier of tooling, engineered components and advanced materials consumed in production processes has set up a dedicated branch office for Russia by the end of April 2007 The strong investment in this subsidiary directly supports Kennametal's stated strategy to strengthen it's competitive position in the growing markets

Managed by Anatolij Nikulin, the new office in Moscow will help Kennametal to be closer to its customers in the region.

It will understand their needs directly and offer the best possible service.

Until now, Kennametal's Russian market has been taken care of solely via a network of distributors.

Nikulin has acquired many years of practical experience with an emphasis in the automotive industry, before he came to Kennametal in 2006.

The team will move into a new facility soon, which will be equipped with latest computer and telecommunications to provide world class support to our customers.

Kennametal expects that this sales office will grow significantly in the coming years, because the potential of the Russian market is enormous.

An additional training center is already in planning.
