Ultrasonics submersibles are powerful cleaners

A Kerry Ultrasonics product story

Kerry Ultrasonics has added a new style of submersible ultrasonic transducer and generator, the Sonopush, which delivers a powerful ultrasonic cleaning action for electroplating rinse tanks.

Kerry Ultrasonics has added a new style of submersible ultrasonic transducer and generator to its product range.

The Sonopush, a robust titanium rod, delivers a powerful ultrasonic cleaning action but is also highly compact.

Due to its small footprint, the transducer is easily retro-fitted into existing cleaning and rinsing tanks, including those that were not originally designed for ultrasonic operation.

Standard stainless steel box-type transducers only emit ultrasonic waves from their top face.

By contrast, the Sonopush's design provides a uniform 360-degree energy field which is effective over its entire length, minimising dead-spot areas.

Manufactured from high quality titanium alloy for long life and powered by Sonopower generators with 1000W, 1500W or 2000W output, the transducer is totally dry-run proof.

It is available with an operating frequency of 25, 30 or 40kHz.

An added use for the product is in the rinse tanks of electro-plating processes, where static water will not effectively remove plating solution residues.
