Findel Education Chooses Kewill to Provide EDI Solution

Supply chain execution solution specialist, Kewill Solutions Europe, is pleased to announce the availability of the new release of its EasyTrade software.

Initially, orders and invoices will be exchanged electronically between the company and its direct to customer supply partners, but it is anticipated that warehouse stock suppliers will also be brought on stream in due course.
"It was essential that the solution integrated with our existing back office system and the fact that it is hosted means any day to day maintenance is taken care of on our behalf, reducing strain on our internal IT resources.
We were initially concerned about the additional resources needed to roll out the solution across our supplier network, but Kewill has alleviated this with its supplier management service," said Sutcliffe.
Suppliers have three options in beginning to trade electronically with Findel Education depending on their circumstances, which means the solution is adaptable to suppliers of all IT capabilities.
Kewill will be responsible for recruiting suppliers on to the new system and helping them to choose the most suitable option for trading electronically with Findel Education whether they already trade electronically with other customers or not.
Jacquie Boast, Chief Operating Officer, Europe, Kewill said, "Kewill demonstrated to Findel Education that MessageBroker would not only provide them with cost effective data translation and manipulation, but also add considerable value to their wider e-commerce initiatives.
Kewill was able, from day one, to show a sound value proposition and business case that addressed the challenge faced by Findel Education." Findel Education is the latest major company to outsource supply chain data exchange to Kewill.
Other recent managed service customers include Ted Baker, Speciality Retail Group and Littlewoods.
