Dutch label company picks K2
A Dutch label company has purchased its second KDO flexographic printing machine from K2 International as part of a major expansion plan to further increase its capacity.
It will also feature K2's Fast Action anilox roller and print cylinder system.
The new machine will be the second KDO press purchased by Rational Labelling and Marking Systems, which not only provides label printing services but also sells label print and apply machines, ink jets and associated equipment.
"Our decision to purchase another KDO press was based on the excellent reliability of the existing machine, the outstanding capability of the latest model, and the very good working relationship with K2," explained Rational's managing director Yan Malkoutzis.
"While we considered alternative machines from other manufacturers, the KDO press was the most appropriate for our requirements and we have had no problems with the current KDO machine which has been in use at our factory for the last 5 years," he added.
It is the latest in a series of new business wins secured by K2 International in recent months.
The company has produced its biggest-ever 10-colour narrow web press for a factory in India and supplied machines to customers in Europe and the Far East.
