KIP launches new KIP 6000 digital modular system for mid-volume print users
KIP launches new KIP 6000 digital modular system for mid-volume print users.
- Powerful single footprint system provides industry-leading levels of output speed for significant increases in print production.
- Incorporates KIP's proven High Definition Print Plus technology to deliver superior imaging quality and zero toner waste.
KIP UK Limited, one of the world's leading suppliers of wide-format digital reprographic systems, has launched a major new mid-volume, single footprint printing, copying and scanning solution.
The new KIP 6000 systems are available as a network printer or as a multifunction digital printer, copier and scan to file system, and offer seamless integration and workflow for virtually any operating environment.
The KIP 6000 delivers unrivalled output at a rate of six metres per minute - 4 x A0 prints per minute - and provides mid-volume production users with patented new image smoothing technology for high print quality, long maintenance intervals and very low cost of ownership.
The new system is based on KIP's patented High Definition Print (HDP) Plus technology that ensures high image quality and reliability, and eliminates the generation of waste toner for an environmentally friendly operation.
The HDP process requires fewer moving parts which results in fewer maintenance calls to significantly extend the system's duty cycle.
HDP Plus technology provides.0025" dot size, single pixel line width, 200 lines per inch resolution, 100 per cent toner efficiency, consistent solid areas, and distinctive greyscales.
The KIP 6000 printer can be configured with two 175 metre rolls, four 175 metre rolls, or two rolls plus two cut sheet cassettes (2 x 125 sheets).
The printer and scanner are normally combined to create a single footprint unit, or if required, can be separated into two freestanding components.
The optional range of KIP scanners operates from x2.5, x4, x5 and x7 A0 per/minute at 400dpi, and from x5, x8, x10 and x14 A0 per/minute at 200 dpi.
The KIP 6000 systems can be configured to suit the needs of all end users.
KIP 6000 printers and multifunction systems can be fully integrated within a company's existing information systems using any of KIP's range of powerful and versatile software solutions, with both internal and external controllers.
