Leading reprographics equipment supplier, Repropoint adds new KIP6000 mid-volume printer to wide format portfolio

KIP UK Limited, one of the world's leading suppliers of wide-format digital reprographic systems, has further extended its successful reseller agreement with Repropoint, one of the leading reprographic service providers in the south of England.

Repropoint has now added KIP's new KIP6000 mid-volume, small footprint printing, copying and scanning solution to its wide format systems offering.

This will provide organisations in the local authority, architecture, engineering and construction industries with high print quality, long maintenance intervals, very low cost of ownership, and industry-leading levels of output speed for significant increases in print production.

The introduction of the KIP6000 system will further extend the successful reseller relationship between KIP and Repropoint following a significant number of customer placements secured for the KIP2000 High Definition Print entry-level system.

Repropoint is also a KIP authorised service provider and is continuing to grow its business from new and existing service contracts for KIP equipment.

"We have achieved considerable success with business gained from sales of the KIP2000 machine and the addition of the new KIP6000 single footprint, wide format digital printer is a further boost to our equipment sales department," commented Mike Webb, Managing Director of Repropoint.

"We are one of the leading suppliers of wide format and specialist printing equipment in the south of England, and are looking to continue our growth by using the KIP6000 systems to open up opportunities in the mid-volume market, as well as strengthening our service business by providing 'on the spot' expertise at a local level for KIP systems in our region." This announcement follows the recent appointment of Jason Kabi as KIP's new Dealer Support Specialist.

Jason Kabi is responsible for managing KIP's UK network of major 'Servicing Dealers', providing consultancy, and sales and technical training for KIP's dealer channel and their respective customers when required.

Chris Hill, Managing Director of KIP UK Limited added: "Jason's appointment and this new agreement with Repropoint, in particular, actively demonstrate our commitment to UK dealer organisations, and will help the company to achieve its target of ?2 million turnover from its indirect channel business." The KIP 2000 range of wide format scanners sets new standards in image capture quality and offers flexible interfacing for easy integration into CAD networks.

The range also employs the latest digital image capture and enhancement techniques, based on KIP's unique Real Time Thresholding (RTT) processing technology which extracts clear, usable image data quickly, even from poor quality originals.

The new KIP 6000 mid-volume, single footprint printing, copying and scanning solution is available as a network printer or as a multifunction digital printer, copier and scan to file system.

It can be configured with any of the KIP 2000 scanners, and offers seamless integration and workflow for virtually any operating environment.

The KIP 6000 delivers unrivalled output at a rate of six metres per minute - 4 x A0 prints per minute - and provides mid-volume production users with patented new image smoothing technology for high print quality, long maintenance intervals and very low cost of ownership.
