Indexers offer repeatability under heavy cuts
When Pacson came to evaluate rotary indexing units to enable valve bodies to be machined in a single cycle it should choose Kitagawa equipment; not just once, but twice!
To meet customer demand, Kitagawa has extended its range of high accuracy, RS rotary tables to include 100 mm, 200 mm and 250 mm diameter models.
All RS models now offer a higher machining torque, increased clamping force and an RS232 port to provide a seamless interface with the customers' existing machine controller.
The new RS100, RS200 and RS250 units can also be supplied with either Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Yaskawa and Okuma motors for use with 'fourth axis prepared' vertical machining centres.

The Master 880, with 8-80 mm diameter capacity, is offered with multi-rack or bundle bar magazines for high volume applications.
Both Genius and Master models are available in 'reversed versions' and are suitable for use with fixed headstock, sliding headstock and moving headstock lathes - allowing optimum machine performance to be achieved.
The latest addition to the Darex range of drill sharpeners, the V291, is ideally suited to general machining and fabrication shop use.
It is both fast and easy to use, and will sharpen drills from 3-19mm diameter in standard or split point form, with a range of drill point angles from 118-140o.
Incorporating super-abrasive grinding wheels that never require dressing and a compact, fully enclosed design which minimises the escape of dust and grit, the new V291 represents a convenient and affordable method of ensuring sharp drill bits on demand.
New to the UK is the Absolent range of oil mist filtration systems, now available from Kitagawa.
Capable of achieving at least 99.97 per cent separation, the Absolent range consistently outperforms industry-standard centrifugal and ionised element filter units.
In standard form, they will remove sub-viral sized particles, as well as eliminate carcinogenic contaminants in the range 0.1-0.5 microns.
In addition, they incorporate easy-to-clean washable pre-filters and can be operated continuously over long periods without servicing. Request a free brochure from Kitagawa Europe ...
