Air-plasma cutting units updated
Air-plasma cutting units for manual cutting feature a safe cutting start of the pilot arc allowing 'running cutting' starts and 'running piercing'.
The plasma cutting units for manual cutting with air as plasma gas of Kjellberg Finsterwalde have been renewed completely The range includes plasma inverters and water-cooled units machines with gas-cooled plasma torches

Low cost plasma units offer quality cuts
Two different plasma cutting units, for cutting on materials up to 20mm thickness (CutLine 20W) or 40mm thickness (CutLine 40W) provide excellent quality cuts at low cost.
Plasma arc cutting units' gas control optimised
The first production machines of a new line of plasma cutting units, with optimised gas control, for CNC-controlled operation are now to be delivered in the next few days.
For plasma cutting with air-cooled hand torches and air as plasma gas three different types are available with maximum cutting thickness of 12mm (Cutline 10G), 20mm (Cutline 20 G) and 40mm (Cutline 40G).
They are suitable for straight line cutting, profile cutting, profile and interrupted cutting, for bevel cutting, hole cutting, fusion drilling and scrap cutting in nearly all positions.
As with all Kjellberg plasma cutting units the safe cutting start of pilot arc takes place by high-voltage impulses.
Running cutting start and running piercing are possible, a reference point is not necessary! The power increases automatically at workpiece contact of the pilot arc.
A soft-start circuit at cutting start and piercing increases the life time of nozzles and cathodes.
A matter of course is the high labour safety by shock-proofing with safety shut-down at cutting with hand torch.
Manifold accessories supports the handling even for non-skilled workers.
We recommend gas-cooled plasma units because of its higher need of consumables (compared with water-cooled units) especially for shops, where plasma cutting is performed only occasionally.
