Marking and notching of sheet metal with
plasma
A CNC interfaced plasma arc system is used to notch and mark profiled plate and sheet for subsequent positioning and drilling operations in fabricated assembly work.
While cutting a lot of metal sheets and several components frequently the necessity stands these to label or notching for drillings and markings are needed for operation steps following on the cut It has to mark on the one hand with letters and numbers, but also through marking lines, for example for following welding on of parts

Low cost plasma units offer quality cuts
Two different plasma cutting units, for cutting on materials up to 20mm thickness (CutLine 20W) or 40mm thickness (CutLine 40W) provide excellent quality cuts at low cost.
Air-plasma cutting units updated
Air-plasma cutting units for manual cutting feature a safe cutting start of the pilot arc allowing 'running cutting' starts and 'running piercing'.
For that purpose Kjellberg Finsterwalde now offers as completion to an oxy-fuel or plasma cutting unit a marking system also controlled via CNC interface.
By infinitely adjustment of marking current between 4 and 25A it is possibly to mark sheets and sections permanently or only temporary.
With large notch-depth this remains visible also after coating the surface.
Point-shaped notching is possible in case of corresponding programming of guiding system.
The outstanding advantage of the FineMarker is the fluid-cooling of the special torch.
It grants a long lifetime of the consumables, indispensable for commitment in automatized systems, and with that the reduction of the need of consumables and the possibility of an almost continuous operation.
But also the gas consumption is very low since only the plasma gas is needed, a cooling swirl gas is not necessary.
So the cooling leads at the same time to a reduction of the operating costs.
The FineMarker is available with a plasma torch with 6m or 10m hose parcel (standard).
As option we offer a remote control and a further interface for controlling the marking current by CNC.
